Mikumi National Park is located about 283 kilometers from Dar es Salaam along the main Dar es Salaam Mbeya highway. This park shares some its ecosystem with the Selous Game Reserve. The Mikumi vegetation is comprised of the three major features the woodland, grassland and swamp. There are two water holes in the park mainly the Mkata and Chamgore. Nyerere National Park (Selous game Reserve) with an area of 30,000 square kilometers (over twice the size of Serengeti!) the largest national park in Africa. It has an enormous game wealth sheltering  elephants, buffalos, the strongest herds of hippos on the continent, crocodiles, wild dogs, lions, leopards, wart pigs, gnus, zebras, Impalas, antelopes, and 350 species of birds have been recorded in this place, Nyerere national park established in November 2019 from part of the legendary Selous Game Reserve.

DAY 1
Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park
Get breakfast; depart from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park on 7:00am with packed lunch for game drive. Expect to see large population of Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Impalas, Zebras, Velvet monkey, kudus and many more attractions. Mikumi National Park is the third largest park in Tanzania (3230 sq.km). The main feature is the flood plain of Mkata River, together with the Uluguru mountain ranges which border the park on two sides. Overnight at Lodge / Tented Camp / Campsite on FB Basis
DAY 2
Mikumi National Park – Nyerere National Park
After breakfast, leave for Nyerere at 07:30hrs by 4x4 Vehicle with packed Lunch. Enter in Africa's largest protected area uninhabited by man after 5-6 hours of drive, where Tanzania's greatest population of elephants wanders in an area bigger than Switzerland! The Park is considered important enough to be World Heritage Site, in which the lucky few can experience a safari in absolutely wild and unspoiled bush Overnight at Lodge / Tented Camp / Campsite on FB Basis
DAY 3
Nyerere National Park
After Breakfast, go for full day game drive with our packed lunch. The park varies from rolling grassy woodlands and plains, to rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River the lifeblood of the park, whose tributaries form a network of lakes, lagoons and channels. Volcanic hot springs even burst forth in places. The Rufiji offers a superb method of game viewing especially during the dry season when animals congregate. Expect to see elephants, antelopes, zebra, hippos, lions, giraffes and if you’re lucky you will see the hunting dogs and varieties of birds. Overnight at Lodge / Tented Camp / Campsite on FB Basis
DAY 4
Nyerere National Park
Early morning half day game drive with our packed breakfast. The Park introduced as a heritage site by UNESCO, Therefore the Park is home to prides of lions, endangered wild dogs, giraffes, buffalos, herds of elephants wander in an area bigger than Switzerland, and many more. Therefore return back to the lodge for hot lunch and will be afternoon boat safari. Overnight at Lodge / Tented Camp / Campsite on FB Basis
DAY 5
Nyerere national Park – Dar es Salaam
The day starts with early morning walking safari with guided armed ranger there after return back to lodge for breakfast. After breakfast depart back to Dar es Salaam with packed lunch.
